Connecting legacy Modbus equipment without replacing it

Most industrial assets were never designed for cloud connectivity. Replacing a working pump controller, energy meter or inverter just to get its data online rarely makes economic sense.

Bridge, don’t replace

ModBridgeX reads Modbus RTU devices over RS485 and forwards the data over GSM / LTE or Wi-Fi. Its own analog and digital inputs pick up field signals that have no Modbus interface at all.

What changes

  • Reduced deployment cost — existing equipment stays in service.
  • Faster digital transformation — sites come online in days, not refit cycles.
  • Remote visibility and centralised monitoring in ConniX Xview.

For solar inverters specifically, SolarBridgeX does the same job through the inverter’s USB or DB9 port.
