Community Guidelines
Last updated: 1 October 2026
The Connix Community and blog comments are for customers, installers and anyone working on connected monitoring for water, air, energy and industry. These guidelines keep it useful for everyone.
Be helpful
- Search before you post. Someone may already have solved your problem.
- Give context: product, firmware version, wiring, what you expected and what happened. Photos of your installation help.
- When an answer solves your problem, mark it as solved so others can find it.
Be respectful
- No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks or discrimination.
- Disagree with ideas, not people. Assume good intent.
Keep it safe and on topic
- No spam, advertising or affiliate links. Partners may share relevant work in Deployment Stories.
- Do not post passwords, API keys, SIM details or other sensitive data — including in screenshots.
- Do not share a client's confidential site details without their permission.
- Electrical installation advice is shared peer to peer. Always follow local regulations and use qualified personnel.
Moderation
Every post and comment has a report button. The Connix team may edit, close, pin or remove posts, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly break these guidelines. Questions about moderation: ketul.patel@connix.in.
