This policy explains how Connix India Pvt Ltd ("Connix", "we") handles personal data when you visit www.connix.in, contact us, download documents, subscribe to our newsletter, or join our community. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Who we are

- Community accounts — profile details (name, optional company, avatar, bio) and what you post.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected through essential cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and send the documents you request.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed — every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To run the community and keep it safe (moderation, spam prevention).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, where you have consented to analytics.
We rely on your consent, or on legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act such as responding to a request you made. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, email and CRM (acting on our instructions under contract), with Connix partners when you ask to be connected with one, or where required by law.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site and blog working (for example, remembering your cookie choice). Analytics cookies are used only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Retention & security
We keep enquiry and lead data for as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship, and no longer than 3 years after our last contact unless the law requires otherwise. Form submissions are emailed to our sales team and kept in a log on our own web server, which is not publicly accessible. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable hosting providers to protect your data.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. We will respond within the time required by law.
